eMail by "SEMAIL" and "SKTD"

  • after a lot of reading and guessing I finally managed to send emails, but, I'm still unsure about context and order.

What makes the difference between them?
Is the first a CSD connection?
What will be charged: bytes or seconds?
There are often errors and long waiting periods during connection setup. Am I too impatient?
All that fuzz with the AT commands, any suggestion for a tutorial and further readings (excep this forum).

  • Documentation from RS tech page and this forum is more than enough if you take your time to read.

Both connection are GPRS, charged per volume of transferred data. In first case you are using internal SMTP facility (client) while on second you are directly implementing it.
