EOL Notification:

Telit would like to announce that following the end of life (EOL) of the old ROM variant of the Mediatek MT3337 GPS chipset, some variants of the following Telit GPS modules will be phased out and replaced by the new variants based on the new ROM (MT3337E).

The EOL replacement P/N: SL871GPS232R001 and SL871GPS232R002

Telit remind that in the new ROM, some features have been removed and some others have been added to improve the overall performances:

Telit will follow the schedule reported below during this End-of-Life procedure:

Last Shipment term: December 2016 or until stock depletion

End of Maintenance term: June , 2017

TTSC and Telit R&D will no longer provide support on the product. From the date of this notice, Telit can no longer provide additional maintenance software releases for the affected EoL P/Ns.
