The Board is equipped with a Telit LE70 series RF-module and it is the latest generation of multi-band multi-channel radio module, which has operating range up to 10.000 meters. Serial data rate is up to 115.2 kbps and Radio data rate goes from 4.8 kbps to 57.6 kbps. The module uses Listen-Before-Talk technique for sensing its radio environment and to find which radio frequency is free to operate on. The Firmware can be upgraded/downloaded Over-The-Air. The Microcontroller has a PIC18F25K20 from Microchip inside, which enables the Board to operate without a PingPong base board. Its CPU speed is 16 MIPS and RAM is 1,536 bytes. The Microcontroller has a programmable 16-Level High/Low-Voltage Detection (HLVD) module. Conversation can be achieved even if the device is in sleep mode and it features auto-shutdown, auto-restart and auto-wake up.
