In all windows applications when I press the # key I get a # on the screen

when I press the @ I get an @
when I press the " I get a "

In all windows applications I use .. this works just fine ... so i think my keyboard map is correct ... except in RSTerm.

@ gives "
" gives @

Try these

alt + 035 = ( # )
alt + 036 = ( $ )
alt + 064 = ( @ )
