selecting band to use 900 or 1800.

Q: Type of module? A: GM 862 GPRS
Q: Firmware version? A: Dont know bought 2005.
Q: Type of starter kit you have? None.
(S1, S1B, S2, S3, EVK1, EVK2, none, other)

I have a module of yours in my application. The thing is that i have radiataion problem from GSM antenna that destroys my measurements. Ie, boost energy in my OPs and make them show wrong value.
I have descoverd that this isnt a issue when working on the 900 Mhz band but is present using the 1800 band.
Is there any way to chosse not to use the 1800 band and only the 900 Mhz Band.

I don't think you have #BND command as on newer modules, try to manually select operators working in 900 MHz with +COPS.
