GE863-GPS (AARlogic C05/3 Rev 4) hangs up after at+cmgs or cmgw

Hi Wilhelm,
I'am back after long time.
I've a little bit trouble.
I will send a SMS or Store it, but the Module hangs up after the at+cmgs or cmgw command. I send the ctrl + Z wait for 5-6 minutes nothin happen.
After the I've to do a powercycle to communicate with the module again.
I can make a telephone call with the module - works fine.
But the SMS Story.
I try it with different SIM cards which work fine in a mobile.
The log of RSTERM stopps after the Command.
when I close the port in RS Term then it wrote the rest in the log, see log 1 and 2

Firmware is: 07.03.702

this seems to be a behaviour from RSTerm, not from the module itself. Is it possible to try with e.g. Hyperterm?

Hi,
I try it with Hyperterm, same result.
I think is must be the module. Because I've to do a Powercycle to the module to communicate with the module again.
I try it on three different PC, and I think with a Python Script it happend too.

I do now a at&f and at&f1 (I think factory default, or?) but the error still exist. ;(

I am sorry I have tried to reproduce this behaviour. In my test environmental it works as expected.
Is it possible to send your board for a check to us?

Hi Wilhelm,

sorry I was tied in other things so no repley from me.

I checked it today again. It's the same problem.
But I've a new idea. When it happend I call the modul. I got a ring tone!
So the module isn't completed frozen.
But this change nothing on the sms problem.

I can send it to you.
Please give me the Adresse via mail.

Thanks,
Klaus
